Review

There is something unique about every movie that Dulquer Salmaan makes. Thus, everyone was curious to know what Dulquer and Lucky Baskhar’s director, Venky Atluri, were up to. Venky Atluri’s sharp script is one of the movie’s greatest strengths. Venky Atluri tells the story of the picture with a lot of action, heroic moments, and strong feelings, so it barely makes a mistake.

The film’s strongest feature is its superb writing, which makes the banking industry’s jargon intelligible to the average viewer without resorting to melodrama. The first part demonstrates Baskhar’s financial difficulties and the factors that lead him to make poor decisions. All of this is presented in a really natural way.

Although the second half gets off to a poor start, the storyline’s allusion to Harshad Mehta and his stock market swindle is well done. Venky Atluri deserves praise for simplifying the on-screen experience for viewers.

The part of Baskhar is expertly performed by the brilliant actor Dulquer Salmaan. His appearance, demeanor, and the valiant moments he displays throughout the movie are just remarkable. While he gambles with his job and makes a lot of money, Dulquer stays under the radar and maintains a lovely appearance. His character allows you to go through it, which makes it very interesting.

Meenakshi Chaudhary looks amazing in the movie and does a fantastic job as Dulquer’s wife. Sachin Khedekar, Sai Kumar, and other actors do well in supporting parts. The film’s conclusion is likewise well-planned, providing a fitting resolution to Dulquer’s deception and making for an enjoyable viewing experience.

The banking industry serves as the background for Lucky Baskhar, and similar topics have been attempted in various languages in the past. One may argue that Lucky Baskhar is the cinematic adaptation of the many web series produced in the banking industry for Hindi-OTT. The film’s second half drags a little, and it seems like the family drama might have been handled better.

The character of Baskhar continues to make a lot of money, and his wife seldom questions him. One believes that the drama should have been raised even if there are situations that cause problems in the family. The second half moves slowly, but it has a strong conclusion to make up for it.

Technical:

Since each song has been expertly woven into the story, GV Prakash’s music is excellent. The production design is what grabs your attention, even if the BGM is good. The whole movie was filmed on a set, and everything from the bank set to the props to the historical scene showing Mumbai is award-winning. Because it keeps your interest till the very end, the script is the greatest. Although the editing is excellent, certain moments in the second half may have been improved by cutting them out.

When it comes to Lucky Baskhar, the director Venky Atluri has done a fantastic job. His narrative and writing are both excellent. Dulquer’s choice to play the lead is one of the movie’s greatest strengths since he is a wonderful fit for the part. Even though he uses a financial background, share market, and Hawala scams, Venky keeps the audience interested by telling the story in a manner that even the average person can follow. His ability to control his emotions makes Lucky Baskhar a compelling film to watch.

Conclusion:

Overall, Lucky Baskhar is a captivating movie with a highly distinctive setting, enjoyable thrills, and a standout performance by Dulquer Salmaan. The second half moves a little slowly, but the thrills on display keep your interest. Otherwise, this weekend’s celebratory viewing of Lucky Baskhar is enjoyable.
