Review

ARM, Tovino Thomas’s 50th movie, is a historical action-adventure drama with an intriguing plot. His choice of roles is still compelling. It’s astonishing how well he portrayed three different personas, particularly the cunning thief Maniyan. As Ajay, Thomas plays each role with nuance and is a great entertainer.

Despite having little on screen time, Surabhi Laxmi, who plays Maniyan’s wife, leaves a lasting impression. Basil Joseph and Rohini Molleti both make significant contributions, with Joseph bringing a lighthearted touch. The supporting ensemble does a good job acting out their parts.

The film’s execution is a significant flaw. Although the tale has potential, it lacks compelling depth and is quite predictable. The attraction of the movie may have been greatly increased with a more polished writing.

The sequences with Krithi Shetty feel like fluff rather than significant additions to the story, giving the character an underdeveloped air.

The director passed up chances to incorporate more intriguing details that would have increased curiosity, such examining Muniyan’s idea for the riches.

The Telugu dubbing is passable, although there was room for improvement in the signboard translation. It feels like a typical dubbed movie because there isn’t as much careful attention to detail.

Conclusion

ARM (Ajayante Randam Moshanam) is an action adventure drama set in the time, with Tovino Thomas playing three different roles with respectable performances. However, the overall appeal of the film is limited by its predictable and unimpressive storyline. Despite its potential, the film’s pacing and screenplay issues could make it less enjoyable. It may be worth watching for fans of the genre, but they should not have high expectations.
